We advocate a fun, play-based academic program. We believe in good nutrition providing your child with breakfast, a morning snack, lunch and an afternoon snack each day. We believe that it is important for all developmental areas to be addressed daily. Therefore, everyday your son or daughter will have the opportunity to participate in cognitive (shapes, colors, numbers, letters), social-emotional (playing house or firefighter), creative (art), language/literacy (stories, puppets, felt board), and gross & fine motor activities (bikes, slides, peg boards, puzzles). We also believe social skills are important and encourage your children to use a tissue when they sneeze, use their gentle hands when they are angry and use their inside voices when indoors. We often go on “outings” to the park, fire station, or fish pond to give the children an opportunity to see and discuss something new. And when the time is right, we help potty train. We understand the challenges you, as parents, face trying to find quality child care.
